Wear Comfortably

Avoid wearing new and untested clothes on the actual day of your speech. If you plan to wear a new outfit, test out the clothes a few times before the day of the speech to ‘break in’ the clothes. New clothes tend to be stiff and uncomfortable. Wear clothes which are comfortable for your size. If your clothes are too tight, they cut down movement and you may want to lean or bend down to retrieve fallen notes. Clothes which are too large, give the effect of drowning in your clothes or being a dwarf.
