1. ANIMAL FOOD
Animal foods are: meat, milk, yoghurt, cheese, bouillon, butter, fish, shellfish, eggs e.g.
If you look into it you'll be amazed how much products in the supermarket contain some kind of animal based product. If you want to become a strict vegan it is not easy. The food pattern of the Western civilisation is based on animal products. In fact this is very strange since we know that many modern diseases are caused by an overconsumption of animal food.
If you want to lose weight quickly it is a must to stay away from animal products. There are two reasons why you have to abstain from animal food if you want to slim down fast:
The energy animal foods contain consists of proteins. Proteins take a longer time to digest and are burnt in a different, more cumbersome way than fruits and vegetables. Burning proteins is a body polluting process so it will not contribute to a healthy functioning of the cells. For more about this subject see the burning process.
Animal products contain a lot of fattening cholesterol whereas fruits and vegetables do not contain any cholesterol.
2. WHITE FLOUR
White flour forms a sticky substance in the intestines and cardiovascular vessels, causes constipation and deregulates the digestive system. For a proper burning process you have to stay away as much as you can from white flour.
Products that contain white flour are: white bread, pizza, buns, pancakes, crepes e.g.
3. REFINED WHITE SUGAR
Refined white sugar is a stimulant and therefore mentioned at 4 but we treat white sugar here because allmost every product you buy at the store contains some kind of refined white sugar. Check those labels! If you consume refined white sugar your body will start craving for more. This effect is not known with the consumption of natural sugars. Try to avoid products that contain this worldly accepted stimulant. Examples: sodas, icecream, candy, ketchup, other sauces and literally thousands of other products in the supermarket. Inform yourself and check the labels.
4. STIMULANTS
Characteristic for stimulants is that they can quickly change a mental or bodily state but that the change is never made permanently and is only a temporary solution. We use stimulants to make us feel good. If you try to control a symptom with stimulants, the cause of that symptom will remain. So try to stay away from stimulants as much as you can. The most well known stimulants are:
Refined white sugar;
Coffee,
Alcohol;
Cigarettes;
Spices;
Red meat;
Diet pills;
Drugs.
How to Live a Life of Gratitude
The thing is, simple acts of gratitude don’t cost you much (especially once you get over the initial discomfort some people feel with thanking others). But they can make a huge difference.
If you’re interested in living a life of gratitude, here are my suggestions:
Morning gratitude session. Take 2-3 minutes each morning to give thanks, to whoever or whatever you’re grateful for. You don’t have to do anything, other than close your eyes and silently give thanks. This one act can make a huge difference.
Say thank you. When someone does something nice for you, however small, try to remember to say thank you. And really mean it.
Call to say thanks. Sometimes you might think about something nice that someone did for you. Perhaps you remember during your gratitude session. When you do, pick up the phone and call the person, just to say thanks. Let them know what they did that you’re grateful for, and why you appreciate it. Takes a minute or two. If it’s too early to call, make a note to call later. Even better is telling them in person, if you happen to see them or if they’re on your route. Almost as good is a thank-you email — keep it short and sweet.
Give thanks for “negative” things in your life. There’s always two ways to look at something. Many times we think of something as negative — it’s stressful, harmful, sad, unfortunate, difficult. But that same thing can be looked at in a more positive way. Giving thanks for those things is a great way to remind yourself that there is good in just about everything.
Be Thankful
Be thankful that you don’t already have everything you desire,
If you did, what would there be to look forward to?
Be thankful when you don’t know something
For it gives you the opportunity to learn.
Be thankful for the difficult times.
During those times you grow.
Be thankful for your limitations
Because they give you opportunities for improvement.
Be thankful for each new challenge
Because it will build your strength and character.
Be thankful for your mistakes
They will teach you valuable lessons.
Be thankful when you’re tired and weary
Because it means you’ve made a difference.
It is easy to be thankful for the good things.
A life of rich fulfillment comes to those who are
also thankful for the setbacks.
GRATITUDE can turn a negative into a positive.
Find a way to be thankful for your troubles
and they can become your blessings.
Public SpeaKing
IN general, whether you are a man or a lady, you should follow the following advice when you speak in public:
Keep your clothes simple
Wear simple patterns and styles. Don’t hang ornaments, badges or accessories on your clothes. Avoid distracting clothes with big pictures, funny cartoons or written print. Avoid wearing stripes which tend to distract members of the audience.
Dress appropriately
Your dress code is actually determined by your audience and the environment of the venue. Dress to fit the occasion-jackets, ties and long sleeves for formal occasions, casual clothing for outdoor functions, etc.
Wear Comfortably
Avoid wearing new and untested clothes on the actual day of your speech. If you plan to wear a new outfit, test out the clothes a few times before the day of the speech to ‘break in’ the clothes. New clothes tend to be stiff and uncomfortable. Wear clothes which are comfortable for your size. If your clothes are too tight, they cut down movement and you may want to lean or bend down to retrieve fallen notes. Clothes which are too large, give the effect of drowning in your clothes or being a dwarf.
Leave things behind
Take out things which you normally put in your shirt or trouser pockets and leave them behind. Bulging pockets are ugly and distracting.
Footwear
Wear shoes that are suitable and comfortable. You don’t want to be seen moving your feet around during your speech because your shoes are too tight and pinching. Wobbling on high heels is also not a good idea. When you first walk onto the stage towards the lectern, do so carefully to make sure your soles are not slipping on the surface. It would be a most embarrassing start to your speech if you were to slip and fall!
Age
If you are young and wish to look older, wear conservative clothing. Ladies who wear their hair long will need to tie it up. Men should avoid bright breezy colours but wear darker somber colours.
Colours
The different colours that you choose may send different meanings to your audience. The following are meanings usually associated with certain colours:
Blue: This is a very popular colour. People who wear blue project an impression of being intelligent, knowledgeable, credible, powerful and strong. The different shades of blue have different effects on the audience-darker shades, heighten the formal atmosphere of your speech, lighter shades have a calming effect on your audience.
Yellow: This is a bright, cheery and sunny colour. It projects a showy, loud and brash image.
Brown: This colour projects soft tones. It calms and soothes the eyes. However, different shades of brown have somewhat dull and boring effects. Far from distracting your audience, this colour may bore your audience.
Black: The colour of authority rigidity and superiority. It intimidates with its severe formality. It keeps people at a distance and does not help in establishing a rapport with the audience.
White:This generates a clean, pure and innocent look. It projects youth, vitality and officiousness. A totally white outfit may be too glaring to your audience.
It is important to note that the different shades in colours will have a different effect on your audience. Certain colours may also not suit your complexion. Get professional advice if you need to and keep in mind that the colours you wear will make am impression on your audience and affect their response to you.
The main thing to keep in mind is to dress neatly to give a good impression while avoiding anything which may cause your audience to be distracted. As the style of clothing depend on personal taste and changing trends, you need to exercise your own discretion and dress in the style most appropriate for you. Finally, aim to be well groomed- looking fresh and neat. Then, forget your appearance and let your personality shine through.

How to Stay Happy at Work
How often do you get the Sunday evening blues? Every now and again, or every week without fail? If it’s the latter, maybe you should think about moving on…
But lots of people find themselves in the situation where they’re not ready to move jobs just yet – perhaps because they’ve only been in the role a short time, or because they want to gain more experience. So if you find yourself in the situation where you’re in a job that is ok but not brilliant, or that you really need to see through for a period of time, what can you do to make it more interesting and - dare we say it – more fun? Here are some suggestions:
Positive Thinking
Focus on the positives – what do you really like about your job (come on, there must be something)? How could you incorporate more of that into your working day? Remind yourself of the other positive aspects of your work – your friends and colleagues, for instance.
Challenge Yourself
Find new challenges. One of the reasons that we can get restless in our job is, quite simply, boredom. Think about ways in which you could make your role more interesting. Perhaps you could volunteer to mentor new staff, or spend some time every week shadowing people in other departments to get a broader perspective on the business? Discuss your ideas with your line manager.
Flexible Working
Is there scope for you to work more flexibly? Working from home one day a week, for example, could give you more variety. This is not an excuse to get up late and lie around watching daytime TV, though – you’ll need to be able to show some output for your time away from the office! Again, discuss the options with your manager
Learn More
If you feel you’re not being stimulated enough mentally, consider doing some training or a course that is work-related: it will give you new insights, help to keep you fresh, and will be a useful addition to your CV when you are ready to move on.
Network
Network more. If meeting new people is not already part of your role, find ways to incorporate it. Meeting people and getting fresh perspectives can help you to keep yourself interested and interesting. If there don’t seem to be many networking opportunities where you are, create some! Organise a pub quiz or a team outing, or arrange for you and your colleagues to meet up with staff from another part of the company.
Have Some Fun
Inject a bit of fun into your workplace. That could be as simple as croissants on a Monday morning or a team drink on Friday afternoon. Or it could be a more structured social event. Your work colleagues don’t have to be your bosom buddies, but you’ll enjoy your working day much more if there’s a bit of banter and humour around. Just because your work is a serious business doesn’t mean you can’t have fun while you do it!
Improve Your Social Life
Make an effort to do more interesting things outside of work. If your working week consists of getting up in the morning, going to work, coming home, having dinner, slumping in front of the TV and then going to bed, your job is going to have a disproportionate impact on your overall mood. Try to fit a couple of social engagements into your week – a dancing class or an art exhibition, perhaps, or just a catch-up with friends you haven’t seen for a while. Having something to look forward to during the week will help to make it more bearable.
Prioritise Your Workload
If you find that your problem is you’re working such long hours that you don’t have time to have fun outside work, let alone in the office, you need to tackle this. Get used to prioritising your workload – negotiate extensions to deadlines if necessary – and make yourself leave the office on time at least 3 nights a week. Most of us have periods when we’re extra-busy and end up working long hours, but if this is happening to you routinely, you need to get out of that rut.
Move On
If, despite trying all the things we’ve suggested, you’re still not enjoying your job most of the time, then perhaps it is time to think about moving on. Life is too short to spend in a job that makes you miserable!
I get wings to fly
Oh, oh ... I'm alive ... Yeah
When you call on me
When I hear you breathe
I get wings to fly
I feel that I'm alive
When you look at me
I can touch the sky
I know that I'm alive
When you bless the day
I just drift away
All my worries die
I'm glad that I'm alive
You've set my heart on fire
Filled me with love
Made me a woman on clouds above
I couldn't get much higher
My spirit takes flight
'Cause I am alive
When you call on me
(When you call on me)
[ Lyrics found at www.mp3lyrics.org/dH ]
When I hear you breathe
(When I hear you breathe)
I get wings to fly
I feel that I'm alive
(I am alive)
When you reach for me
(When you reach for me)
Raising spirits high
God knows that...
That I'll be the one
Standing by through
good and through
trying times
And it's only begun
I can't wait for the
rest of my life
When you call on me
(When you call on me)
When you reach for me
(When you reach for me)
I get wings to fly
I feel that...
When you bless the day
(When you bless, you
bless the day)
I just drift away
(I just drift away)
All my worries die
God knows that I'm alive
I get wings to fly
God knows that I'm alive
Snowkiting
Snowkiting is becoming popular in places often associated with skiing and snowboarding, such as, Austria, Norway, Sweden, Switzerland and the western United States. Snowkiting is an winter boardsport, this sport is practiced outdoors, integrating the airfoil and techniques used in kitesurfing, with the footgear and gliding surface used in snowboarding. You should take your skis or snowboard and your kite and you're ready. Both Snowboard, alpine skis and Telemark skis can be used during snowkiting. In the early days of snowkiting, foil kites were the most common type; nowadays some kitesurfers use their water gear for snowkiting, and it is not uncommon to see tubekites also. Snowkiting differs from other alpine sports, in that it is possible for the snowkiter to travel uphill with ease when the wind is blowing in the right direction. Like kitesurfing, snowkiting can be very hazardous, and should be practiced with care.
Alpine Skiing
The Alpine skiing advanced from cross-country skiing when ski elevator infrastructure was developed at mountain resorts to tow skiers back to the top of slopes, thus making it possible to repeatedly enjoy skiing down steep, long slopes that would be otherwise too tiring to climb up. Thus, the sport is popular wherever the combination of snow, mountain slopes, and a sufficient tourist infrastructure can be built up, including much of all the world.
Speed Skiing
Speed Skiing is all about Speed. At the beginning of Skiing, a lot of persons were obsessed with the speed reached by the Skiing downhill and using gravity to propel you as fast as possible. Speed skiing is the sport of skiing fastest in a straight line downhill. It is the fastest not motorized sport on earth, and the world's second fastest not motorized sport. Some people took the speed element and focused their Skiing technique and aspirations on Skiing as fast as they can.
Ski Mountaineering
Ski mountaineering is a sport that combines the techniques of skiing with those of mountaineering. Ski mountaineers ascend otherwise inaccessible, isolated or dangerous slopes on foot using a range of mountaineering equipment, typically crampons, ice axes and ropes, while skis are carried strapped to their backpack. This either permits access to extreme slopes, or more often allows transit through otherwise impassable terrain in order to continue beyond on skis, where normal ski touring equipment such as skins and harscheisen (ski crampons - also called couteau or cortelli) are used.
Extreme Skiing
Extreme skiing is a style of downhill skiing in which the skier subjects themselves to much more adverse conditions than normal. Extreme Skiing frequently involves steep slopes, large drops off of cliffs, or difficult aerial maneuvers, athletes do flips and tricks in places that skiers would not go in the past.
Backcountry Skiing
Backcountry skiing is a term used for all kinds of skiing that is done in the wild, where there aren't any lifts, any circuit, any lodge, any patrol, or other comforts. It is the basic, just you, your ability, and nature. Backcountry Skiing is for more advanced Skiers only and you will need to have a lot more knowledge and other Skiing skills before you leave the safe environment that snow resorts create.
Snowboarding
The snowboarding is a progressively common winter sport around world. Snowboarding is a board sport on snow comparable to skiing, but inspired by skateboarding and surfing. A snowboarder's equipment consists of a snowboard, snowboarding boots, bindings to attach their boots to the board, as well as snowboarding-specific winter clothing.
FreeSkiing
The focus on freeskiing began in the early '90s when names like Wendy Fisher, Kristen Ulmer, Seth Morrison, and Trevor Peterson were the face of skiing, skiing unimaginable lines down steep chutes with inclines at as much as 50 degrees. This new form of 'extreme skiing', as it was labelled, was the beginning of the move back to freeskiing and once again doing big air jumps.
Jumping Skiing
Ski jumping is a winter sport or event in which competitors jump on skis for points or distance. Ski jumping may be performed on either snow skis or water skis, and jumpers in either case are judged by the distance they travel in the air. Ski Jumping competition results are based on a total point system which combines style points and distance points. Water ski jumpers are judged purely on the distance they travel in the air for a clean jump. A clean jump is a jump in which the jumper lands upright and maintains a grip on the rope until the judges deem the jump complete.
Cross-Country Skiing
Cross-country skiing is one of the most hard and exhausting endurance sports, as its movements use every major muscle group and it (along with swimming and rowing) is one of the sports that burn the most calories per hour in the practice. Modern cross-country ski competition is experiencing a revolution that is resulting in greater compatibility with people which began with the addition of the Sprint event to the World Cup and Olympic competitions.

_________July 27th often sees the town come alive with a beer party.
Where : Furano downtown
The rather curious tradition of the Hokkaido Bellybutton Dance (Heso Odori) began about thirty-five years ago. It was decided that a town festival was needed, in order to unify and energize Furano's people, who are spread over a large area. Inspired by Furano's location in the very middle of Hokkaido, the festival organizers came up with the idea of a dance featuring the bellybutton.
This dance was not exactly an immediate hit. In the first official Heso Matsuri, only 11 people joined the dance. However, over the years, Heso Matsuri has become one of the most famous summer festivals in Hokkaido, drawing people from around Japan and the world. Last year, over 5,000 people participated in the two-day dance, with thousands more gathering to watch.
Humor is a key reason for the festival's success. Dancers make their “heso” (bellybutton) into a face, using paint, special costumes, and props. There are many innovative variations to the simple, energetic Heso Odori (Bellybutton Dance). Competition is intense as dancers compete for prizes and glory in various categories.
All things have a center; for a person, this is the bellybutton. Hokkaido's bellybutton lies in Furano. Join us for this unique, humorous and unforgettable spectacle.

At the Snow Dome site you can get local drinks like hot local wine and cool beer drunken from freshly carved ice glasses. You can also get a real glass glass if you want to get a drink a little faster.
Every Friday night and Saturday during the ski season there are events held at the Snow Dome site. There are both traditional and contemporary concerts, traditional food fairs and giveaways. The ski area hosts ski and snowboard events with the celebrations taking place at the Snow Domes. Friday night often sees rice caking making demonstrations and giveaways.
All events are aimed at a wide audience and everyone will be sure to find something to enjoy.
